Estates employees discuss demands

Jammu, Mar 26: A meeting of Estate Employees Association was today held under the chairmanship of its president Prem Singh Baba. The meeting discussed all the pending demands of the employees and anti employee attitude of the State Govt. The association highlighted the demands, highlighted in a press conference but so far nothing has been done by government. All the participants have decided in one voice after discussing the demands, to stage Dharna scheduled to be held on 28/3/2018 in the office complex Dy. Director Estate Gandhi Nagar Jammu. Their demands included re-organization of the department, which has been pending since 1973, DPC of all categories with test of type be conducted twice in a year as per the actual seniority list whereas it has not been done for the last 9 years, regularization of all daily wagers, the pending salary arrears be paid forthwith w.e.f. 2001 and 20011 to all categories, release of time bound promotions be granted along with arrears, including pending arrears, SRO 43 cases be settled immediately, if any, to clear the pendency beside others.
