Srinagar, Mar 26: Security forces on Monday cordoned off the Bonikhan Mohalla of Hajin in Bandipora t during wee hours and detained a youth, reports said. Reports said that Irfan Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Bonikhan mohalla, was detained for questioning after night-long CASO ended this morning.
Official sources said that 13RR of the army, Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police and 45 Battalion CRPF had launched the search operation after inputs about the presence of some militants.
He said that youth took to streets and pelted the forces with stones while the cordon was being lifted around 8 am. |
