'State Govt ignores OBCs, unconstitutionally passed two reservation bills' | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 5: Emphasis of the State Govt. over the recently unconstitutionally passed two reservation Bills in the just concluded assembly is a wonder struck matter for the public in general and state OBCs in particular. In a meeting of the union, the approach of the State Govt. is highly condemnable as the Govt. time and again justifies the unjustified reservation quota to Paharis and un-reserved categories who are already siphoning about 80% of the share in Govt. Jobs. The bills under discussion returned to the Govt. by his Excellency and follow up of the Govt. is astonishing and is not acceptable and the Govt. with vote powers of the poor, snatching the rights of the same poor under the mis- use of Art 370 besides the muscle force activities. Participants and the speakers appealed the Governor to take appropriate action regarding these two unconstitutionally passed bills for giving a ray of hope to the commons by giving genuine directions for visible good governance and Govt. should not look like an opposition party for the state people with the mis-use of the public power empowered to the Govt. The meeting besides other executive members M R Bangotra, and Prof. Kali Dass also shared their views. |
