 Jammu, Apr 5: The 25th Dr Surinder Singh Memorial Golf Tournament was organized at BSF Golf Course Paloura Camp. The tournament is an annual feature, organized in memory of late Dr Surinder Singh who served as IG BSF Jammu and is credited for shape to the golf course in its initial days. Golfer from BSF, J&K Police, state administration and civilians participated in the tournament. K K Sharma, DG BSF along with Ram Awtar, IG BSF Jammu inaugurated the tournament. Golfers were thrilled to play on the lush green course which only recently was given a new makeover to make the game more interesting and challenging. Hardeep Singh, DIG won the overall championship while Ram Awtar IG BSF Jammu was the runner up. Shree Toyota Jammu sponsored the tournament and K K Sharma DG BSF gave away the prizes. |
