JAMMU, Apr 5: Tightening grip over criminals, RS Pura police today booked one hardcore criminal/Drug Peddler/History Sheeter under PSA.
Police identified the arrested criminal as Narinder Kumar alias Tachii of ward no. 08 RS Pura.
Police said that Narinder who was involved in 04 cases registered against him at RS Pura police station and 01 case registered at Gandhi Nagar police station of heinous nature was booked under Public Safety Act (PSA).
Spokesman further said that since the said accused was involved in attempt to murder case and smuggling of drugs/contraband substances and sale of these among the youths of the area, his presence in society is quite dangerous.
The PSA warrant has been executed after making hectic efforts and the criminal has been lodged at Central Jail, Kot Bhalwal, Jammu. The PSA warrant was executed by Police Party headed by Inspector Bishnesh Kumar, SHO RS Pura under the supervision of Sourabh Prashar, SDPO RS Pura and RC Kotwal, SP Hqrs Jammu. |
