Jammu, Apr 5: Continuing protest in support of their demands, protesting students of Jammu University alleged that JU authorities has planned a drama by planting some students, offering them juice and declaring that the students have called off their protest against the JU. Talking to Early Times, Abinandan-a law student who was spearheading the agitation against the Jammu University said that the authorities of the Jammu University has enacted a drama by planting some students who were offered juice by the authorities and declared the ongoing protest off. The protesting students, including females and some scholars also, are on protest against the JU administration, Vice-Chancellor in support of their demands, which include wi-fi and round the clock canteen facility in the university hostels, installation of CCTV cameras on entrance of the university and making newly constructed hostels functional. Agitation was started after JU administration had ordered suspension of five students for alleged ransacking of DSW office on Thursday. The students, against whom action has been initiated, included Abhinandan Sharma of Law Department, Rishikesh Bhardwaj of Buddhist Studies Department, Sunny Parihar of DLL, Satvinder Singh of Law Department and as Nishant Gupta of Buddhist Studies. |
