| Police book 'scribe' for harassing female teacher | | |

Rajouri, Apr 17: On the written complaint from Zonal Education Officer(ZEO) against a self styled press reporter allegedly for using un-parliamentary language against a female teacher, Budhal police have booked the accused under various sections.
"The accused has been booked under sections 170 CrPC & 353, 504 and 506 RPC (FIR No.23/2018) on the written complaint of ZEO,Kotranka (Budhal) and police have started the investigation and soon he will be taken into custody" said a senior police officer.
According to complaint with the ZEO, Kotranka, one person namely Shah Nawaz s/o Hassan Mohd entered the middle school Behrote and harassed one lady teacher (name withheld) without any initial talk between them.
He also used un-parliamentary language and derogatory words against the woman teacher for a long time, alleged sources privy to the incident.
In his written complaint to SHO, Budhal police station, ZEO has requested him to take stringent action against the accused so that such incident may not occur in the future inside the school premises or at any other place.
ZEO further said that the accused has also posted a video on his FaceBook account threatening the woman teacher, education department and the society. |
