Jammu, May 4: A meeting of General Body of Jammu Kashmir Sharnarthi Action Committee (JKSAC) was held at its office Rohi Morh R.S. Pura Road, wherein, besides the other issues of the DP's, the participants deliberated upon the present status of disbursement of package of Rs. 2000 crores. They urged upon the govt. to streamline the direct benefit transfer system as per the serial order of the list appeared in internet to avoid harassment to DP's. While welcoming the reshuffle in govt. and congratulating the new faces inducted in cabinet, Gurdev Singh President said that matter regarding the slow and erratic disbursement is a cause of concern for DP's and have been brought many times in the notice of authorities both in Jammu & Delhi. Despite of several assurances from both the quarters, no concrete steps have yet been taken to streamline the biometric and DBT system.
