AJKEDLWU holds meeting, discuses clerical cadre's ongoing strike | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, May 4: The ongoing strike of clerical staff was discussed threadbare in a meeting of All Jammu & Kashmir Electric Department Linemen & Workers Union (AJKEDLWU), Jammu. The meeting held here today under the chairmanship of Vijay Gupta, chairman, in which all the office bearers and members were also present. In the meeting, members unanimously said that the demands of clerical staff are genuine Vijay Kumar while addressing the meeting said that the state government should look into the demands of the clerical staff and concede the demands without further delay. He said in case the government consumes more time in mitigating the demands, it will affect the public and the official works which in turn will affect the state exchequer. He urged the Chief Minister to concede the demands of the clerical staff within fifteen days. Amongst others who attended meeting and spoke include Suresh Antal, Anil Singh Slathia, Tara Chand, Girdhari Lal, Pawan Kumar and others. |
