MULBPA concerned over JK Bank withholding 7th Pay commission benefits of CPB | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, May 4: Municipal and Urban Local Bodies Pensioners Association Jammu Province (MULBPA) in its meeting today expressed serious concern over J&K Bank authorities for withholding 7th Pay commission benefits of the Civic Body Pensioners (CPB) of April 2018. The issue was raised in a meeting of the association held here today. The office bearers and members said that whereas the J&K Bank has disbursed this benefit to J&K State Government Pensioners under the Government Order No 222-F of 2018 dated 24-04-2018. It is pertinent to mention here that nothing has been mentioned in the said Govt order to ignoring the civic body pensioners from the pay commission benefits so how and under which reasons the J&K Bank authorities have ignored the Civic Body Pensioners from the said benefits. It is well known that the J&K Bank and Finance Department has mutually agreed vide Govt Order No. 12-F 2012 dated 18-05-2012 to disburse the pension to Municipal & Urban Local Bodies Pensioners on Ist day of each month likewise State Government Pensioners. The Association has appealed to the Chairman J&K bank to review the issue and pass direction to J&K Bank Manager to disburse the 7th Pay Commission benefits along with old pension at the earliest. Prominent among others attended the meeting are BS Jamwal, J R Sharma, Y S Jamwal, BD Verma, Jawahar Lal Sharma, K G Khajuria and others. |
