Poonch, May 7: The UEED Poonch has been accused of embezzling a hefty sum after 2014 floods. The locals said other departments including I&FC and RDD have also made some quick bucks.
Poonch, is known as the hub of corruption and blunders for many previous years due to cheaper political representation.
According to the sources from Poonch town, many drains and culverts under the supervision of UEED have been damaged within the time of one three years or least.
Sources informed early times that the authorities having a truck with the contractors have embezzled crores of rupees funds during three previous years.
They have appealed to Executive Engineer of UEED Jammu to take strict action after investigation against embezzlers and further appealed to vigilance organization to investigate the matter |
