Poonch, May 7: A local of village Gohlad has allegedly encroached three kanals of state land by installing a machine on it, source said here today
Mohd Siyaf son of Shah Mohd Resident of Gohlad, Mendhar has installed a machine on state land which is a kahcharai under kharsa No. 2072 measuring 30 kanals.
Residents headed by Zafar Iqbal Mohd Maroof called on Sub divisional Magistrate Mendhar today and apprised him of the grave problem. The SDM immediately asked the Tehsildar concerned to initiate enquiry into the matter
Tehsildar asked the concerned patwari to visit the spot and submit a report. The patwari concerned is said to be hand in glove with the encroacher. It became evident when he allowed him to operate the machine at night.
Locals have taken strong note of the patwaris action and complained again to SDM who assured an enquiry into the matter of matter at the earliest. |
