Jammu, May 7: As a part of its efforts to adequately prepare Shivani Charak, who has been selected to represent the country in sport climbing in the forthcoming 18th Asian games to be held at Jakarta and Palembang (Indonesia), from 18th August to 2nd September. Sprawling Buds ICSE School, Bantalab, Jammu sponsored for her a week long coaching camp at Indian Mountaineering Foundation, New Delhi, the apex body for adventure sports in the country. After her coaching cum practice at International standard walls at IMF, New Delhi, Shivani who left for Delhi today, would directly join the national coaching camp for Indian team at Jamshedpur on 15th May,2018 prior to her participation in the 1st IMF All India Sport Climbing (speed) Competition at the same venue. It was announced by the Chairman of Sprawling Buds ICSE School Rahul Sharma while felicitating Shivani on her selection in the Indian team for the Asian Championship. Prominent among others present on the occasion included Shawetica Khajuria, an international Judge of the game and Joint Secretary of Mountaineering Association of J&K Ishbilia Handoo I/C Co-curricular activities and staff of Sprawling Buds ICSE School, Jammu including Neha Sajgotra, Reena Rajput, Sanjogita, Rishu Nehru and Shivani Koul |
