Jammu, May 7: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has criticized the statement of former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for giving such statement over killings in Kashmir valley. According to press release, AAP has expressed great surprise and wonder on the mind set of Omar Abdullah who has completely forgotten the repeated packages with Government of India be it the period of his grandfather in 1975 making an agreement with the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, then in 1987 made by his father with the then Prime Minister late Rajiv Gandhi and again in 2002. The NC in its history has always begged for economic packages from the centre and stayed in power compromising honor & dignity of Kashmiris and now when out of power, they are harping on political solution thereby befooling the poor and educated un-employed youths the release said. Prominent among those who attended the meeting includes S. Deep Singh, Founder & National Council Member, Ram Singh Chauhan, Farooq Ahmed Banday, Kuldeep Kumar Rao, S.S Jamwal, Raj Kumar Nichal, Sanjeev Sareen, Arun Malhotra, Naresh kumar Kessar, Ayub Ayan, Mehar Singh, Ram Pal Kajuria and Rameshwar Samyal. |
