JKGB achieves target of 11000 enrolments

Jammu, May 7: J&K Grameen Bank achieved the set targets in J&K State (11000 Enrolments against 8651 Enrolments) under GOI campaign "Gram Swaraj Abhiyaan" Micro Finance and Financial Inclusion Department in collaboration of Regional Office Jammu, Rajouri/Poonch & Kathua/Samba achieve the set targets under Govt of India campaign on the theme of "Gram Swaraj Abhiyaan" in 19 villages covered in districts of Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Rajouri & Poonch. Vipan Gupta, Sr. Manager, Micro Finnace & Financial Inclusion, J&K Grameen Bank highlights that the target given to J&K Grameen Bank under Gram Swaraj Abhiyaan has been achieved by the bank. He highlights that the bank opened the accounts of mostly unbanked population in the most backward areas of the given 19 villages under Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bhima Yojana (PMJJBY) and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bhima Yojana (PMSBY).
In the ongoing campaign he aware the people about the Gram Swaraj Abhiyaan, a GOI programme for covering the poor population in the villages of Districts Jammu, Rajouri, Kathua and Samba.
He make all the efforts to enroll more and more person under the social security schemes so that the poor and unreachable population may also get the benefits of these schemes. He appreciate the Bank Staff for door to door banking under this campaign to achieve this valuable target.
