| World Red Cross day celebrated at Samba | | |  Early Times Report
SAMBA, May 7: On the directions of District Development Commissioner Samba, Govt. Girls Model Hr. Sec. School Samba organised a function on the eve of World Red Cross Day here today.
In which comprises of all the schools falls under the cluster head in which worthy Principal GGHSS Samba Jai Krishan Raina was the chief guest. According to the report, the function was comprised of different parts in which Red Cross prayer and pledge was done by students and staff members. A symposium was also organized in which Richa of GGHSS Samba secured 1st prize while Diksha Sambyal and Sonali remained 2nd and 3rd. After that cultural part was held in which Valmiki Public School Samlah got 1st prize while 2nd and 3rd was again secured by GGHSS Samba.
Further, the paper reading competition was held in which Anil Kumar Verma, Master and Jeevan Jyoti were rewarded as the best spokesperson.
While addressing the event, Principal Jai Krishan Raina told that the Red Cross society is the world's best organisation that helps every single individual in tragedy need. |
