Jammu, May 7: Capacity building phase (CBP) of the Chani Mansar watershed project was launched today in Chani Mansar panchayat of Majalta block, Udhampur.
The occasion was graced by Vijay Kumar, CGM, NABARD, J&K RO, Jammu and P Balachandran, CGM Designate, NABARD, J&K RO, Jammu in the presence of AK Sharma, ADC, Udhampur. Manohar Lal, DDM, NABARD, Udhampur, Sister Pushpa from KJSWSS and people of the area were present.
A watershed project named Chani Mansar Watershed project has been sanctioned by NABARD in Chani Mansar Panchayat, Majalta Block of Udhampur district.
This is the first such project by NABARD in Udhampur district and second of the total three in the state. The project is funded by NABARD and is to be implemented through Kristu Jyoti Social Welfare Society, Samba. |
