| Fire breaks out in godown of action showroom | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, May 15: A major fire was breakout in the godown of action showroom this evening at Canal Road resulting damage of several lakhs.
Police sources said that employees of the irrigation department noticed flames coming out from the third floor of the building and he accordingly informed the owner of the showroom.
Later, the owner of the showroom intimated to fire and emergency services and total eleven fire tenders were pressed into service for dousing the fire.
As per reports, the fire engulfed to 2nd floor of the building following which it took couple of hours to douse the fire.
Police said that preliminary the cause of fire could not be ascertained yet. |
