CT scan machine in hospital develops fault, patients suffer | | | Arun Jasrotia Early Times Report Udhampur, May 15: Making a mockery of tall claims about better health facilities in the government hospital, the CT scan machine is non-functional since the four days at District Hospital Udhampur. Due to this patients who come from far flung and the remote corners of the district suffer. Sources said that the CT scan machine developed a fault some days back and the higher ups of health department have failed to repair the machine in short span of time. They alleged that the machine is lying non-functional and the poor patients don't get the CT scan facility at District Hospital Udhampur. Superintendent District Hospital Udhampur said that the machine develop some fault from last three days and denied that machine is not working from past over a week. The Superintendent said that a part of CT scan developed a fault and the same needs to be changed by a Delhi Based company. |
