Jammu, May 15: In an urgent meeting convened today at Chamber house regarding the statement of Dr. Nirmal Singh, Speaker J&K State Legislative Assembly against the Indian Army, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry has sent out a written communication to the Prime Minister of India.
"We at Chamber of Commerce and Industry Jammu feel shocked and anguished over the recent statement given by Dr. Nirmal Singh, Speaker, J&K State Legislative Assembly accusing "Indian Army of harassing people", the Chamber mentioned in communication sent to PM.
"The Chamber feels that a person holding the second highest constitutional post in the State of J&K and speaking against the credentials of Indian Army by such irresponsible utterances is not in national interest", it added. |
