Poonch, May 15: Heaps of garbage welcome the tourists the moment they disrmbark at the bus stand in the city of saints.
Just near the Dashami Akhara there are piles of garbage and animals roam there freely making the life of the toursts and residents difficult.
The shopkeepers and locals have said there are always photos of leaders with groom promoting cleanliness drives. They said after the programmes, no improvement is seen.
They also added that Poonch administration must take cleanliness seriously as in upcoming season of summer there may be fear of outbreak of an epidemic.
Locals have requested DC Poonch to do the needful. |
