| Carmel Convent organizes Family Day | | |  Early Time Report
Jammu, May 15: Carmel Convent Hr. Sec. School celebrated the "International Family Day" on the theme "Families & Inclusive Societies". The day's proceedings began with the invocation of the almighty through a prayer which was preceded by a skit enacted by the students of class XIIth on the theme "Family Bond". The programme comprised of a rhythmic Bhangra performance and the celebration was followed by a Group Song Competition among the students of class IXth and Xth. The School Principal Maria Swati applauded the flawless performances and congratulated the winners. She focussed on the promotion of a peaceful and inclusive society. She also encouraged the students and stimulated them to achieve the 17 Sustainable Goals (2015-2030). |
