Jammu, May 15: Vice Chancellor, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-Jammu) Prof. Pradeep Kumar Sharma today informed that Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi will address the sixth convocation of varsity on May 19. Professor Sharma also briefed that N.N, Vohra, Governor, J&K and Chancellor of the University and Mehbooba Mufti Sayeed, Chief Minister Of Jammu & Kashmir and Pro Chancellor of the university along with galaxy of dignitaries including policymakers, academicians, administrators, members of university council and board of management shall be gracing the convocation with their presence. He informs that the university imparts various degree programmes at graduation, post graduation and Doctorate level of all the three faculties comprising 16 disciplines in Agricultural Sciences, 16 disciplines of Veterinary Sciences, 4 disciplines of Basic Sciences in its Masters programme and 31 disciplines in doctoral Programme. In addition to this, the University is running short term/skill oriented certificate courses leading to self employment. |
