| Majid expresses concern over water crisis in Mendhar, Mankote, Balakote | | |

Mendhar, May 27: President Kissan Mazdoor Union Mendhar Majid Khan Boby today expressed serious concern over prevailing acute water crisis in Mendhar Mankote and Balakote area, saying the PHE Department has failed in maintaining the supply, as a result of which people were suffering.
Majid assailed the PDP-BJP dispensation for betraying the people, especially those living in remote and backward areas. He said the Government seems to be invisible on ground. Jan cautioned the coalition Government against testing the patience of people, who feel let down due to misgovernance and administrative inertia, and address to their problems, which are accumulating with each passing day.
He said the Government has failed on all fronts and the promises made have proved big hoax. On drinking water crisis, Majid said, "There is no proper tanker facility with department while water supply is completely erratic and irregular in all the areas of Mendhar ". He urged the district administration to immediately intervene in the situation to give respite to masses. |
