LeT terrorists on killing spree, high time for Kashmiris to wake up
5/28/2018 12:15:55 AM
Early Times Report

Jammu, May 27: Terrorists of the terror outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba carrying out a killing spree in north Kashmir's Hajin area has created ripples in the area.
During the past few months the LeT terrorists have slaughtered nearly ten people at the pretext of being 'mukhbirs' (informers of the security forces).
The latest victim Muhammad Yaqoob Wagay was slaughtered within his house in front of his wife and a 7-year old son.
The brutal killing shook the people of Hajin as on Saturday they took to the streets and staged a protest against the cold blooded murder of the victim. As the Lashkar militants sniffed trouble they released an audio clip on the social networking sites claiming that Wagay was killed by the agencies. "Despite terrorists trying to wash off their hands people know it very well that LeT terrorists have killed Wagay and other people in the recent past," said a source.
A police official said, "People coming out on streets to protest against Wagay's killing is a clear indication that terrorists are losing ground. Its just due to fear of gun that people are not coming out in open. Otherwise we know it very well that people are fed up of terrorists and their activities."
It may be recalled that five masked gunmen barged into the house of Wagay in Gund Preng village of Hajin during the dead of the night caught hold of the victim and then worked knives on his throat while the other three gagged his wife and seven-year-old son after violently waking them up.
An analyst said, "Such brutality has been unheard of. Such incidents have created fear among the people as no one knows who could be labeled as informer and then killed."
He said that so-called champions of human rights, separatists in Kashmir have maintained silence over the issue. "They have not even issued a single statement to condemn such a brutal act which has shaken everyone," the analyst added.
A Kashmir watcher said that it's clear now that Pakistan wants killings to continue and it has no respect for the holy month of Ramadan and the ceasefire which has been announced by the Government of India. "Pakistan sponsored terrorists have been assigned a job that's to kill Kashmiris or get them killed. It's high time for people of Kashmir to open their eyes and see who their real enemies are. They need to wake up and revolt against the terrorists who are hell bent upon ruining their lives," he added.
