| PDP leaders distribute relief among border migrants | | | Early Times Report
ARNIA, May 27: In continuation to reach out to border shelling effected families putup in various migrant camps, Senior Youth Leader Parvez Wafa Khan, along with Rajat Randhawa, Sandeep Jamwal, Rajat Singh alias Chingari, Boley, ex Sarpanch Sartaj Singh, Narinder Sharma visited Arnia. While conveying solidarity with effected families he assured them to convey their genuine demands to high command.
While thanking the Chief Minister for her special concern towards border people and announcement of special police drive in police force including construction of Border Bhawans. They also demanded special concession and waive off of school fee in favour of border residents children even studying in private schools.
Khan assured them to convey their genuine demands to High Command to mitigate their suffering.
He also distributed relief among those people.
Meanwhile Khan also rushed to Kalai Gujjar Basti Kulian RS Pura where a major fire had devastated many hutments and cattle perished, and distributed relief to affected families.
Urging the government to provide all support to the effected persons, Khan demanded appropriate relief and rehabilitation including tents and free ration. |
