| BJP Regime: School children drink muddy water with cattle | | |

Udhampur, May 30: Believe it or not, but, it is a bitter truth that few day back school going children specially girls of remote hamlet Sangra 100 km from the town in district Reasi are forced to drink muddy water of a pond and that too along with cattle.
This is the state of affairs of our nation after over 70 years of independence where we are now talking of digital age .
When contacted some of the locals informed that there is acute water problem in the area.
Certain social organizations have raised questions on the working of concerned authorities of the area.
Harsh Dev a Local resident of Sangra village has said that what the education authorities are doing when the school going children are forced to drink dirty water. He further said that this may harm the health of these children.
It is pertinent to mention here that the government has made tall claims of giving water to the remotest part of the State but this hamlet has exposed government's claims beyond doubts. |
