| Lieutenant Colonel found dead mysteriously | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 30: A Lieutenant Colonel rank army officer posted with 213 Transit Camp near Police Headquarters (PHQ) Jammu falling under the jurisdiction of Bahu Fort police station was found dead under mysterious circumstances.
Police officers quoting army officials said that Lieutenant Colonel Sanat Kabi (45) son of Athnu Kabi of Bhuwneshar, Odisha was found unconscious with blood oozing out of his mouth.
Later, the officer was shifted to the Military Hospital (MH) Satwari by the army officials where he allegedly failed to respond the treatment.
After that the body shifted to the mortuary of the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu for autopsy.
Station House Officer (SHO) Bahu Fort, Sajjad Parvez said that preliminary it came to light that the deceased officer was suffering with cancer. However, inquest proceedings to ascertain the actual cause of death have been launched. |
