| 2 injured, one escape unhurt in Kishtwar road accident | | |

Kishtwar, Jun 9: In yet another tragic accident, two persons received injuries while another escaped unhurt after an Alto vehicle bearing Registration No. JK02M- 9382 rolled down near Kwar bridge in Dool area some 14 KM from Kishtwar and fell into river Chenab. As per the details available with Early Times, the driver of the vehicle lost his control over the vehicle as a result of two persons identified as Badal Kumar s/o Bodh Raj, Ajay Kumar S/O Mangal Singh both resident of Kwar got injured and shifted to DH Kishtwar for necessary treatment while another one Ashwani Kumar Son of Kewal Krishan also resident of Kwar escape unhurt and was discharged from the hospital after preliminary checkup. As soon as the accident took place, the army personnel from nearby 17 RR Headquarter at Dool immediately rush to the spot and join the locals in rescue operation. Army was also later joined by the police and shifted the injured to hospital. Later Ajay Kumar was shifted to Jammu Medical College for advance treatment. Earlier it was believed that one person has been drowned in river water and police even called for the help of divers from adjoining Doda District, but later it was clarify that only three persons were on board when the I'll fated vehicle meet with an accident. |
