BJP for its political foes is touch me not flower thereby feeling afraid of forging alliance with saffron brigade
(Behind the veil)

Early Times Report
Jammu, June 9 :-Touch me not flower is the plight of the BJP.No national level or the regional political parties are ready to forge alliances with the saffron brigade because politicians at the regional or national level treat the BJP non-secular,fundamentalist or for that matter others treat it as an extremist organisation.
If either the congress or the leftists attempt at forging an alliance withe BJP their secular culture stands uprooted. If for that matter Samajwadi Party or the JD(S) or any other regional organisation do not feel comfortable with an alliance with the BJP.Even Mamta Banerjee chief Minister of West Bengal has an inherent scare from the leftists but she is not prepared to shake hands with the BJP.
Even Delhi Chief Minister,Arvind Kejriwal, prefers joining hands with the congress to forging an alliance with the BJP. Kejriwal finds it easy to forge an alliance with the congress party to ensure defeat of the BJP in Delhi Assembly and later in the Lok Sabha elections.
In fact the memory of the BJP,even if it emerged as the single largest party in the Karnataka Assembly in the just concluded elections, failed to form the Government after the JD(S) forged an alliance with the congress. It has happened in Bihar and in UP where the regional parties came under the umbrella of the Congress to form the Government. That is a separate story if Nitish Kumar Chief Minister and head of JD(U) later shook hands withe BJP.
In the state of Jammu and Kashmir neither the Congress nor the National Conference made an attempt to seek support of the BJP in the formation of the Government. If it was the Congress-NC coalition Government or it could be the Congress-PDP coalition rule.Well since the BJP had been winning three to five seats there was no need for the NC or the Congress to seek support from the BJP for the Government formation.Even if the BJP had numbers neither the NC nor the Congress would have formed a coalition Government with the BJP.
And late Mufti Mohd .Sayeed displayed courage by forming a coalition Government with the support of the BJP. This was done to secure liberal funds from the BJP ruled central Government and his aim was to end regional discrimination. And earlier the practice was to appoint a senior leader from Jammu as the Deputy Chief Minister. This was done during the NC regime and later during the NC-Congress coalition Government or during the PDP-Congress rule.
And after the debacle in Karnataka and Lok Sabha by poll in 14 constituencies the BJP is trying hard to forge alliances with regional parties but so far it has not achieved success.Even Shiv Sena in Maharashtra is not interested in shaking hands with the BJP.It is only in Punjab where the BJP has found a reliable partner in Akali Dal(B).
The need for the BJP to find partners at the regional level arose after the Congress brought various regional parties under its umbrella which is a guarantee for its success against the BJP.Even for the BSP of Mayawati the BJP is like a touch me not flower. She fears that she may lose the support of Dalits and a section of muslims if she shakes hands with the BJP. This way the BJP is left with issues and without political partners. The BJP may win the next Lok Sabha election if it is able to reverse its anti incumbency factor. If it wins the next Lok Sabha poll people may forget about it being a touch me not flower
