| Vibodh Gupta starts drive to feed grain, water to birds | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 9: A drive of Feeding grain and water to birds by placing bowl of water for them was organised by Shri Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan Trust at Raipur Domana today.
On occasion, the Chief guest in function, MLC Vibodh Gupta, appreciated the step for feeding grain and water to birds during the summer by the trust under the presidentship of Mahant Rohit shastri.
Speaking on the occasion, Mahant Rohit Shastri said that birds make our environment beautiful and they should in turn be kept well by us. For feeding birds what we have to do is to placing bowls on the balconies and on our roofs and all common areas of our houses, he added. He further said that birdfeeders can also be installed in our homes so that any bird that flies by our house can eat and drink.
"Together, we must do something such as this which would benefit the birds. These small acts are a mark of our true humanity and we must all learn to do such acts of spiritual and social merit.
