Jammu, June 9: To promote the traditional culture of J&K, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan observed the "Anti-Malaria Month-2018", in coordination with Sangam Tru Art production and National College of Computer Education presented its 212th Saturday Series Musical Play "Malaria Chha Bacho" on the theme of "Prevention from Malaria " at open air theatre Durga Bhawan, Janipur Jammu to draw attention of the masses living with vector borne diseases including dengue , malaria and their treatments .The program was inaugurated by as Chief Guest Dr. Tara Singh Charak ,Former Chief Medical Officer, Jammu and Kashmir Government , Udhampur & V.K.Magotra, Former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity ,Ministry of Information and Broadcasting ,Government of India presided over the function. The day commemorated as "Anti Dengue Month " as well with sole aim of rejuvenating the traditional , primitive Folk, Art, Culture of J&K Region in particular and Indian nation in General Awareness items Specially prepared on the Themes, Like "Chara Da Bukhar- Roko Roko Malaria Gi Roko" , "Bacho Bacho Dengu Kola Bacho", Skits ,Songs and dances were presented to aware the masses. The Chief Guest lauded the efforts of the organizers in making such awareness programmes colorful, effective & result oriented theme wise contents to promote love & peace. |
