| Poster making competition organised | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 9: The NSS unit of Government College of Education today organized poster- making competition on the theme "Beat The Plastic Pollution" with regard to the celebration of World Environment Week 2018, under the NSS programme officer Prof. Sunita Devi.
Principal GCOE Dr. Sangita Nagari congratulated the participants for their participation in the event.
She awarded and sensitized the participants about the plastic products which have become menace to human beings as well as living organisms. She also suggested the various ways with which we can prevent or beat the plastic pollution. A total of ten students participated in the competition and the competition was judged by the senior faculty members of GCOE .Dr. Raj Singh, Dr. Ritu Magotra, Dr. Neelam Dhar.
First position was secured by Neha Rani and second and third by Preeti Jamwal and Sneha Mantoo respectively. |
