Jammu, June 11: The 2nd J&K Girls Battalion NCC of GDC RS PURA performed a Nukkad Natak on the theme 'Health and Sanitation' today as part of Swachhta Summer Internship Programme at village Bagga Marh.
The event was organised by Prof. Shaveta Chowdhary, Nodal Officer, SBSI under the guidance of the principal of the college, Prof. Kalpana Kesar. Through the natak, the cadets highlighted various health issues related to unhygienic sanitary conditions and emphasis was laid on water and food borne diseases such as diarrhoea, dengue etc.
The Nodal Officer appreciated the efforts of the students and thanked the villagers for their active participation. |
