JAMMU, June 11: Two patients along with ten people trapped in the lift of Government Medical College and Hospital on Monday. All people were rescued safely by the locals. As per eyes witnesses that Monday's afternoon, the 3 patients along with attendants and others boarded the lift from the ground floor to go to the 5th floor of the hospital and when the lift reached the fifth floor, it suddenly stopped working and all stuck in. "The elevator might be stuck due to a power cut. However, five minutes after they realised that the problem was probably not due to an electrical failure and they tried calling on numbers which placed inside the lift, but there was no network. They also pressed the panic button placed inside the lift, but nothing happened, "they stated. They asked who will responsible if people started having panic attacks as there was no security guard available. Later, all were rescued were presented in the hospital by breaking doors the lift with an iron rod. |
