Rajouri, June 12: Two persons received burn injuries while at least five structures were completely damaged in the fire incidents in Rajouri district. As per reports, fire broke out in the cattle shed of Barket Hussein at Thaliote in Kalakote during last night, damaging it completely. Sources said that fire tender couldn't reach the area because of poor connectivity. Locals tried to douse the fire in which two persons, Noor Hussain and Mohd Hussain, suffered minor burn injuries and were hospitalised. In a separate incident, at least five shops were gutted in a fire incident at main market Nowshera.
An eye witness said fire emerged from a shop and soon engulfed other shops in the area. Fire tenders rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control, he said. However, no loss of life was reported in the incident. |
