Jammu, June 30: The High Court has stayed transfer of IFS Officer of 2008 batch, who was transferred at the behest of a former minister
Justice Janak Raj Kotwal after hearing Adv Abhinav Sharma appearing for the petitioner issued notice to the Commissioner/Secreatry Forest Dept, Rajeev Jasrotia Ex-Minister presently MLA and Vivek Sharma DFO Bhaderwah and ordered that subject to objections and till next date before the Bench, impugned order dated 07.06.2018 (supra) to the extent of its item No. 2, whereby Vivek Sharma has been asked to, look after the charge of CF Chenab Circle, Doda shall stay. High Court also directed that Vivek Sharma shall report to the Administrative Department and it shall remain open for Administrative Department to give him appropriate posting, having regard to his cadre position. In addition, the Administrative department shall accord consideration to the representation of the petitioner in view of the averments petition and shall intimate the decision taken to this Court along with their objections in the writ petition.
