| MVD suspends permit of overloaded vehicles | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, June 30: Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) here has suspended the permits of two passenger vehicles for violation of norms and putting lives of passengers in risk.
Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Rajouri, Neeraj Sharma informed that during routine checking at different routes in last few days, two passenger vehicles including JK11 4171 and JK11B 2431 were found heavily over- loaded with passengers who were even sitting on rooftop and climbing with stairs.
" Drivers of both these vehicles were indulged in grave violation of norms which were threat to lives of a number of passengers " ARTO said adding that taking note of this, permits of both these vehicles has been suspended. |
