Jammu, June 30: One day awareness programme was organized by civil defence Jammu at yatra base camp under the close supervision of Anita Pawar, Dy SP, Dy. controller Civil Defence, Jammu. In this awareness camp yatries were briefed about the climate of the yatra route and to about preventing measures are to be taken during this yatra. They are also informed to carry woolens cloth, rain coat wind cheaters, sticks torch and blankets and also informed to follow the instructions issued by the yatra officer from time to time and given them the knowledge about first aid (CPR, chocking, and emergency methods). At least 1500-1600 pilgrimage were present on the occasion. The main aim of the awareness programme was to facilitate the pilgrimage and make them aware about the do's and don'ts during the yatra. |
