| NSS volunteers distribute water among people | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, June 30: Under Swachh Bharat Summer Internship-2018, the NSS unit of Govt. Degree College Bishnah installed a stall of sweet water entitled 'Swachata Ka Sharbat' to create awareness over the importance of general cleanliness and the clean water. The interns under due guidance of the nodal officer Prof Amit Kumar Sharma prepared the sweet water for the residents of Ratnal village and while serving the same to them discussed the importance of cleanliness in general and clean water in particular. The charts with slogans 'Jal hai to kal hai' , 'Save water Save life' were at display at the place where water was being served to the people. The interns informed the residents that there is only 1% fresh water available to us for our use, so wasting this scarce resource would surely endanger our life on the earth. |
