Udhampur, June 30: A team of "Chanakya Youth Inspiring Society (CYIS), Lower Kud (Chaskoo) conducted cleanliness drive at Mantalai during Sudhmahadev Mela.
They collected polythene bags, disposable plastic plates, plastic glasses, plastic bowls, plastic wrappers, plastic bottles etc. thrown by the pilgrims on the road.
The CYIS further conducted cleanliness drive today at Sudhmahadev and created there a plastic-free environment.
Along with more than 40 volunteers, the members of CYIS who participated in the cleanliness drive are Mr. Raj Kumar chairman/founder; Lakshya Kumar General Secretary; Balwan Singh Legal advisor; Raza Shabir Publicity secretary; Rakesh Kumar Joint secretary; Lokeshwar Social media manager; Parvesh Kumar Assistant publicity secretary; Mohd Tufail General body member; Sunny Kumar Member and Ankush Kumar Member. |
