Jammu, July 6: Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu region organized a blood donation awareness camp at Chenab Valley Power Projects Pvt. Ltd., Jammu.
Dr. T.R. Raina, Former HOD, Blood Transfusion Department, GMC, Jammu while speaking on the occasion explained in detail the need and importance of Blood donation, its periodicity, effects/benefits on the health of the donor and above all the noble cause of saving precious human lives.
Dinesh Gupta, Hony. Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region briefed the participants about "What Red Cross Society is & What it Does" and how they can also be of big help to the passengers during any medical emergencies.
Prominent among those who were present on the occasion include D.K. Razdan, General Manager, Virender Raina, General Manager, K.K. Goel, Chief (Fire), M.K. Pantose Chief (HR), Dr. Rajinder Thappa and Dr. Ranbushan Singh. |
