Strong communication channels in MHA helps to accomplish goal | IPS officer all set to get deputation for native state | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 6: An Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of J&K cadre is all set to get a deputation for his native state as all the arrangements in this connection have been put in place while only an official communication in this regard is being awaited. Sources told Early Times that this officer has strong links in the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) which enabled him to get prize postings in J&K from time to time. Sources said that the IPS officer's deep rooted contacts in the MHA could be gauged from the fact that despite a complaint was received against him and the matter was also probed but still he was assigned the charge of head of one of the districts of the state. "The IPS officer's connections in the MHA had off and on came to his rescue in the past and now while he intends to move to his home state, the officer is getting the support from his links in the central ministry," sources said. "The IPS officer presently is without any posting in the state as he had activated his channels in Delhi. He is just waiting for the central government order for his deputation to be issued. As soon as the order gets released, the officer will go on deputation to his native state," sources added. Sources said that even though formal order of his deputation is yet to be issued, the officer has already managed to fix a posting for him in his home state adding that the officer will get a prime post as and when he joins duty in his native state. "The IPS officer has cordial relations with a large number of politicians in his home state. These links in political circles of his home state has helped him to make a strong footing in his home state well in advance," sources said. Sources said that among his batch mates, the IPS officer was transferred maximum number of times in J&K due to his temperament and disliking for the places where he remained posted adding that after complaints were received against him, the officer was removed from a district each in Jammu as well as Kashmir regions while he also remained attached for a few days in a district of Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range. "Now, the IPs officer intends to move back to his native state and to accomplish his mission he used all tricks up his sleeves which finally bore fruits as the green signal for his deputation has come. The MHA has issued verbal instruction to the State Home Department to ensure that the officer remained unoccupied as it has been decided to accord sanction to his deputation," sources said. Sources said that the IPS officer has a strong network of his contacts in the MHA as even though no formal order of his deputation has been issued, the officer was not assigned the charge of any post so that he is sent on deputation without wasting any time as and when the formal order in this regard gets issued. |
