Govt polytechnic organizes campus placement drive | | | Early Times Report Jammu, July 6: A campus placement drive was organized at Government Polytechnic, Bikram Chowk Jammu. According to press release, the drive was organized for the final semester Polytechnic students of 2018 batch in Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation & control Engineering of Government Polytechnics of Jammu division. The drive was conducted by HPCL-Mittal Energy Limited (HEML) for recruitment in Guru Gobind Singh Refinery at Bathinda in Punjab. HPCL and Mittal Energy Limited (HEML are the JV partners who hold a stake of 49% each in the company and the remaining 2% is held by financial institutions. The company offered a package of 3 lakhs + performance bonus 0-15 % of CTC besides accommodation and other benefits. Rajendra Singh, Manager- Human Leadership, Rajiv Rai Manager (Mechanical), Varun Jindal Deputy Manager-Electrical Maintenance & Equipment Reliability and other team members from HPCEL interacted with students for Pre- Placement Talk followed by Rigorous recruitment process with Written Test (Technical), Psychometric Test, Group Discussion and Personal interview. A total of 32 students appeared for placement. The final interview of the shortlisted candidates with appointment order will be conducted in the company at Bhatinda. The Placement drive was organized by Training and Placement cell of Government Polytechnic Jammu, Rajesh Khajuria Training and Placement Officer , Er. Ajay Thapa , Er. PK Angral and Er. Atul Sudan as members. |
