State, Centre parties encourage Casteism for vote bank: Randhir
7/7/2018 12:26:01 AM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, July 6: Senior leader and former Minister Thakur Randhir Singh NCP said all the parties in the state and centre have encouraged casteism, sub-casteism , vote bank politics and destroyed nationalism and encouraged the criminals , illiterates , rapists by sending them in parliament and state assemblies and these parties have discouraged trade union movements , farmers movements , women and student movements.
As per statement, he said why they have not made compulsory military training to its youth like all democratic countries like USA, UK and China to make its youth disciplined and also the second defence for the country. He commented that the quality of governance has been brought on the lowest level particularly in Jammu and Kashmir since 1975 when Sheikh Mohd Abdullah took over the reign of govt second time and started family rule in Jammu and Kashmir followed by his son Dr Farooq Abdullah and grandson Omar Abdullah which ended in 2015 than another family rule led by Late Mufti Mohd Sayeed and his daughter Mehbooba Mufti who ruled the state with the help of BJP which ended last month.
He said it is surprising that Ex chief minister's Dr Farooq Abdullah, Gulam Nabi Azad, Omar Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti who are no more chief ministers but enjoying all perks of Chief ministers. Dr Farooq Abdullah managed a law in 2002 in the Legislature Assembly that whosoever after losing the job of chief minister in Jammu and Kashmir, He or she will get same pay and perks as the working chief minister even the residential houses, full staff and security which was being enjoyed when they were Chief ministers.
Singh said that the State Accountability commission (SAC) which was introduced in the state with competent judges to curb the menace of corruption in the state and founder Chairman of SAC was Justice RP Sethi who had to resign due to the non cooperation from the govt. Even the present SAC and State Information Commission (SIC) is not working due to the shortage of staff. The state Vigilance Organization inspite of simply registering many FIRs since 2015 and earlier are under investigation. It is sad that due to delay in disposal of majority of corruption cases registered since 2015 the accused officers and officials have remained unpunished and large number of such govt servants is even enjoying prime postings.
