Jammu, July 12: Regional Outreach Bureau, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India organised a day long programme on Swachhta Action Plan-2018 (SAP) at Government Industrial Institute, Jammu. The aim of the programme was to acquaint masses about various aspects and provisions of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (SBA) for general public and youth of the Institute in particular. A series of IEC activities were included in the programme viz. Screening of documentary films, Presentation of Skits and Mimes, Expert lectures by Resource persons, Open Quiz Contest, Seminar etc.
A galaxy of expert from Rural Development Department, faculty ITI, Probationary Officers from IIS, and other intellectual viz. Dr. Sunil Sharma, Amandeep Singh, Naresh Sharma, Nazir Ahmed Molvi, Shabir Dar were prominent among others who spoke on the occasion. Resource persons delivered key note addresses on the implementation of Swachh Bharata Abhiyan, Swachhta Action plan-2018 and provided elaborated information about the rights and duties of every citizen to achieve the desired goals of SBM and SAP-2018. Speaking on this Occasion Miss Neha Jalali, Head of Office, Regional Outreach Bureau, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, J&K Region, highlighted the importance of Swachhta Action Plan-2018 and urged the audience to shoulder their responsibilities to spread the awareness of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in their respective areas and fields. |
