BLSKS presents musical play "Maa Ka Dudh"

Jammu, Aug 4: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan in coordination with Sangam Tru Art Production presented its 220th Saturday Series Musical Play "Maa ka Dudh" at open Air theatre ,Durga Bhawan Janipur Jammu.
This year's theme is "Breastfeeding: Foundation for Life". The Program was inaugurated by Dr.Anju Dogra, Health Department J&K. Among the Guest of Honours were V.K.Magotra, Former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India, Dr.Tara Singh Charak, Former Deputy Director, J&K Health Department and J K Raina, Producer, Director Films. The programme was commenced with song of "Dudh Maa Ka Hi Pilao "Laga Gran Sare Sehtu Da Mela" ,"Piya Hai Maa Ka Dudh to Aja" & dances, skits also presented by the renowned artists of BLSKS and music of the play was composed by Raju Bajgal, Music Instructor ,BLSKS.
The Musical play was written, produced and directed by M L Dogra, Former Regional Director, Song and Drama Division, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting ,Government of India. In addition to the above the BLSKS will presented 4 programs at various blocks & villages of Jammu Distt. at Kot Bhalwal, Marh, Akalpur, Raipur. Earlier welcome speech of M L Dogra, Chairman, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan who highlighted the event i.e. World Breastfeeding Week to encourage breastfeeding and improve the health of babies around the world.
