Anti-India slogans during protests against killing of youth at Farooq Abdullah's residence | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 4: Anti-India slogans were repeatedly shouted in the presence of police during a protest at Bantalab and Chinore areas against killing of a youth who was shot dead this morning whenhe rammed his car into the residence of former Chief Minister Dr Farooq Abdullah. A video has gone viral in the social media where in some youth along with couple of women were shouting anti-India slogans. Instead of pacifying the family members of the youth, who were in great shock, some persons tried to instigate people against India, security forces and media just to accomplish their nefarious designs of creating anti-India atmosphere in Jammu city also. In the video, those who were shouting anti-India slogans were clearly visible and they were vociferously shouting slogans against India with clear intension to instigate the people to resort into violence. Credible sources said that police have already indentified those who were shouting anti-India slogans just to instigate protestors. Sources believed that anti-India slogans were shouted as part of the deep rooted conspiracy to put peaceful Jammu on fire by such action. Shockingly instead of demanding probe into the killing of youth, some protestors were deliberately trying to give in communal colour by shouting slogans against India and security forces. Abdullah, a sitting Lok Sabha member from the Srinagar constituency, is away in New Delhi for the ongoing Parliament session. The incident is being seen as a major breach in the security of Abdullah, a Z-plus category protectee. |
