| People hold protest against Municipal Committee Ramgarh | | |  Early Times Report
Vijaypur, Aug 4: At a time when the Prime Minister of India launched drive Swachh Bharat Mission and raised slogan clean India and green India, the realty in rural India is some this else, as the residents of the ward No 7 Ramgarh stage strong protest demonstration against the Municipal Committee Ramgarh in District Samba here today. This morning a large number of people of ward No 7 Ramgarh assembled in their ward. They raised slogan and shouting against the officer of the said department. They alleged that the filthiness of the Ramgarh town thrown in the Sewer located at Ward no 7 Ramgarh. Due to the filthiness the sewer is totally blocked and the dirty water flowing in their street and road. They also said with dirty water many types of diseases are threatened to spread. The stench is so difficult to get out of their house. They blamed several time they went to the office and informed to the officer of the said department on this issue, but they dole fake promise with them so today they will force to come on road and protest against the said department. They demanded to DC Samba and Director local bodies to give more attention to it so that people do not face any problem. |
