| AJKNGFOA stages protest demonstration against forest Deptt | | | Early Times Report
ramban, Aug 4: All Jammu and Kashmir Non-Gazetted Forest Officer Association (AJKNGFOA) staged a massive protest demonstration against long pending demands in permises of Forest Complex, here today.
The protest was led by association chairman Rajinder Singh Parihar
He stressed upon higher authorities of forest department to settle the genuine demands of forest employees.
The protesting employees raised slogans against the department in support of their demands and urging them for early redressal of their demands.
Parihar while addressing the gathering said that the department should regularized the daily rated workers as they have not been regularized from the past 19 years.
He further said that conducting of DPC of all cadres right from class IV to Range Officer Grade I I should be done adding that the department should remove the pay anomalies of the employees. He demanded that the employees should provide two and half day additional salary besides risk allowance should also be provided.
District president of the association Charan Dass Manhas condemned the authorities for delay in redressal of their demands and said that further delay regarding settlement of these genuine demands will compel the association members to launch massive agitation for final settlement their demands.
Later they submitted a memorandum to the Divisional Forest Officer Ramban. |
